Launching problem

Hi guys so have tried ans tried again to fix my skyrim Se without succes when i launch the SKSE64 the windows diseappar and the puff nothing happend ... sadly

 

If a good soul woulld take the time to look at my load order i would be thankfull.

I have instaled SkSEE, Loot, Bodyslide, and Launch FNIS

Long-shot. Did you run the FNIS generator as instructed by the mod author? (Although, honestly, I can't imagine why that would keep the game from starting.)

 

You've got a lot of mods that require dependencies (other mods or patches) to function correctly. Are you certain you have all of them?

 

Try launching your game at the menu rather than through SKSE. Yes, that means a lot of mods won't work. But were just trying to get the game to start. Does the game crash right after the Bethesda logo? Then you've definitely got a mod conflict. Probably a missing dependency or two.

 

If so, disable (don't un-install, just disable) everything except SKSE, DLC's and the unofficial patch. Try to start through the SKSE shortcut. Did the game start? If so, re-enable 10 mods (and any dependencies they require) and load in again. Keep doing this until the game refuses to start. Now you have the issue narrowed down to 10 mods.

Yes i runned the FNIS Generator and the game wont launch using the regular menu.

Possible confirmation of LeddBate's post: "SOSRacemenuPlugin", but no racemenu installed. Not 100% sure, what this Plugin really does, but it could lead to "missing master" issues... Check for things like this. Go through the right tab in LOOT - it should tell you about missing masters (messages with light red background)..

 

Another possible reason are version mismatches between SKSE and Skyrim and/or SKSE and plugins depending on it. Make sure you got the right version of SKSE for your version of Skyrim - and the right version of plugins depending on SKSE.

 

I rather think your issues stems form SKSE problems. If you're "only" missing master files, normally the game would start to load, show the Bethesda logo and then crash.Not launching at all or closing without message or on a black screen is rather a hint at incompatible SKSE plugins. This would also explain, why the game doesn't launch without SKSE. .dll files are loaded anyway. If the installed version of SKSE doesn't match or if SKSE isn't found at all, the result will be the same: CTD.

 

So my first idea would be this:

1. Make sure you got the latest version of Skyrim ("verify game cache") in the Steam "library").

2. Donload and install the latzest version of SKSE.

3. Look at Skyrim Special Edition/data/skse/plugins. Check if there are any .dll files. If there are, find out from which mod they are. Update that mod. If an update isn't available or doesn't work, uninstall that mod and see, if this changes anything.

Sorry to hear that you still got issues. What's the current state? Still not loading?

Not sure about the game, but SKSE is checked by LOOT.

So, that's probably mfg console fix, PapyrusUtil and TKDodge. Did you try updating or completely uninstalling those mods - especially TK dodge? And are you sure TK Dodge is installed correctly? TBH, I don't have much experience with this mod, but it's definitely a more complex one.

 

If all this doesn't help, you will have to go the slow and painful route: Uninstall mods (always 10 or so at a time) and test, until your game works. Then reinstall the mods you uninstalled last one by one. If the game starts to CTD again, you've found the culprit... I'd start with the most complex stuff (Open Cities, Immersive Citiizens, OSA, Flower Girls...).

AFAIK, Tamriel Reloaded doesn't include waters, does it? So "Realistic Water Two" would still be nice - apart from that, it's one of the best looking water mods... ^^

 

Not sure, if mountains are covered by Tamriel Reloaded. But if you like "real mountains", you should keep it. It's just textures. They're definitely not the cause of crashes.

For example the path "D:\Program Files (x86)". I have never seen anyonehaving such path for Steam and Skyrim. Are you trying to run a copy of Steam on your D: drive? If so, it is a bad idea to copy a UAC protected folder ( "C:\Program Files (x86)").

 

If this is not the issue: how how do you install? What could you have done to mess up installation?
