Deleted49413338User Posted June 20, 2018 Share Posted June 20, 2018 I am wondering if there is an ini setting that tweaks the speed of which items fade from the Lv2 lod mesh to the actual object mesh? this is a problem with nearly all tree mods, you get a sudden pop in as the lod mesh transitions to the object mesh. I feel that if it was a much slower fade-in, it wouldn't be so jarring. there are a lot of LOD setting in the ini files as well as a file named LOD settings that is a .LOD extention type file, I have been unable to open it. Be mindfull of the uGridsToLoad setting though. You can set it higher mid-game, but cannot set it lower again afterwards without the game refusing to load. I know most of these things and it seems this guy back when he made this was learning as he went. I already spotted one mistake at a quick glimpse which is grass density info.
