lazloarcadia
So moments ago I downloaded the Witcher 2 and 3 from Steam and then launched NMM (current version). It came up the typical "scan for new games" window which I went through and selected YES to this, and NO to that based on what is actually installed. I am assuming I accidentally selected "NO" to Fallout 4 being installed, which of course it is. Now when trying to launch NMM it will give me the following error, and then force close. How can I manually force it to rescan for the installed games? NOTE: NMM is not allowing me to do anything other than select the OK option to close NMM, and I never get the option to launch a different game, etc etc.
lazloarcadia
I found a work around! I went back to the Nexus and downloaded a mod via the NMM, thus forcing the NMM to open with Skyrim SSE as it's default. From this point I was able to rescan for installed games and selected the option to recognize Fallout 4 as being installed. Hopefully this will help others having similar issues. JimmyRJump
I assume that with "current version" you mean the latest version which is downloadable from GitHUB. That's where the NMM developers are since The Nexus stopped support for NMM in favour of Vortex. The NMM version 0.65.2 available from Nexus (and all prior versions) has/have an xml error that prevents you from swapping around plugins in NMM's plugins tab when an esl is loaded above an esm.
