SubjectProphet
I meant to post this when I woke up this morning, but the whole day has passed and I still haven't posted. This sleep thing, yeah, hasn't been working out for me. Two things I really need help with here: SLEEPING: I've got several disorders. I have trouble sleeping, I get horrible nightmeres, painful muscle spasms when I sleep, and every medication I've been on has never helped. EVER. And when I'm out there fighting and tired, it doesn't mix well, as you might imagine. TEETHING: I know I'm not a baby, but here's the deal: I have to get a tooth pulled out in the morning because I had a cavity I never knew about (didn't hurt, didn't look like one, etc.) and it was in there too long. The dentist here said I'll be teething after it's pulled (eg, cold soda cans, ince cubes, anything cold) so the pain will die. So, in order to prevent myself from looking like a total retard in front of everybody, I came here to ask: How do I prevent myself from looking like a total retard in front of everybody? AurianaValoria1
First of all, I would do what the dentist says. If he/she doesn't say, ask! If the dentist says it's OK, I'd take some kind of pain killer (Aspirin or whatever), rinse my mouth with salt water (for infection), and put something on it (like Orajel) to numb it. If you're afraid you'll accidentally bite down on it, you may have to put some kind of guard in your mouth to keep your teeth apart.
saadus
don't apologize for it, don't look awkward about it, simply look at them and teeth away.
HeyYou
Given your current circumstances...... I am surprise they let you have anything at all to help you sleep... some of them work too well..... and most of them will NOT allow you to wake up at the snap of the finger, and be combat ready in any reasonable amount of time. (if it became necessary..... you'd prolly be dead......) Not sure if there is much to be done there...... have you chatted with a 'head doctor' about these things?? It only hurts for a day or two.... is sensitive for a few more, and after about two weeks, you don't even notice anything other than the hole.... I didn't take any painkillers after having one of my wisdom teeth out. I did for a day when I had two removed at the same time though...... but, after that, it was annoying, but, not overly distracting. Gotta be careful how you eat for a while, as you do NOT want to get an infection.... that would just be BAD.
Werne
When it comes to sleeping, get used to it, it's not going to get better any time soon, especially when it comes to nightmares. Medication won't help so don't even take it, it will get you killed because you just get slower. And if you're too tired to fight, get angry. Rage can be a powerful tool if you know how to use it. As for the teeth, the pain will stop after a few days and then you'll need to get used to the hole. And you can't prevent yourself from looking like a retard so don't even try.
