tomomi1922
Skyrim SE is supposed to be way more stable and resilient than Skyrim. You should start thinking about moving over, because it will be Skyrim SE that will last a few years longer after everyone quits Skyrim. But of course, nothing stops you from just sticking with Oldrim. But support will be less and less. The more poeple moving to SSE, the more mods written only for SSE, and Oldrim's mod support will fall off sooner. So hang in there. Your efforts here will be worth it.I don't think Quick Loot and the font would cause CTD, at least not at very specific location on map :smile:No, not crash log. More like report log. The reports can be cryptic and false positive. It may not give you much help. But look up "papyrus log", you will find a simple guide on how to enable it. Just remember, there are going to be quite many "errors" in the log that may turn out to be harmless. Can you try this? Remove Alternate Start, in fact, remove all mods. Endure the intro sequence. Fight through Helgen, make a save at the end of Helgen (and backup that save so you can have it: a clean new game save with no mod). Just do it, don't be lazy. And then get to this area to test. If all goes well, start loading mod 1 by 1 (or 2 by 2 if you feel bold). Then visit this area again and again. Try to note when you CTD. karkarius
People sometimes include the Papyrus log. Some say it doesn't really help, but I still use it/post it if I have problems. In your Skyrim.ini (documents/my games/Skyrim se) at the bottom of the opened ini you will see Papyrus settings with values at 500, 0, 0, 0. set those last three 0's to 1's and save it. After you next run SkrimSE, in that same folder, you should now have a "Logs" folder, inside is a "scripts" folder, and your papyrus logs should be in there. I highly suggest opening them with Papyrus Log Viewer or something similar, or it will just look like a jumbled mess.

Thank you, I about to reinstall the game but should i use unofficial patch while i trying the new game? or just leaves the game with no mods at all for now. A reinstall is a good idea: though unusual, do not rule-out a corrupted install or the chance that a mod was corrupted when installed. When you do uninstall, remove ALL files from the Skyrim SE directory.
aerkfeed
Thank you everyone for helping me out and i finally have good new. I am able to fix my infamous riverwood ctd at last and i also try to play around a bit with no issue so far The mod the was giving me trouble was RaceMenu which is also a mod that i ported myself using a video guide i found on internet since the original mod aren't available for Skyrim SE yet.How RaceMenu affect all of this i still dont know. I'm also dont know why u guys didnt mention that racemenu would be the cause. Anyway after i removed racemenu i started to installed some mods (including UIExtension and Alternate Start) and so far have not encounter any CtdMaybe now i can start the actual modding. Also l now learned that i should have use mod the have been properly port and available to use on Nexus and not to port mods myself. I will mark this topic as solve now. Again, Thank you everyone i really appreciate that you take your time to help me. My english is not good so i am sorry that you have to endure the words or wrong gramma i tried my best to explained everything anyway thanks again, Good day. Edit: One last thing, How do i mark this topic as solved? Edited July 2, 2018 by aerkfeed
tomomi1922
To mark a topic solved, just edit the title and add "Solved" behind it. Honestly, how could anyone know Racemenu was the cause? You made one mistake somewhere, changed one wrong value, or the guide was being unclear somewhere, all it took was a tiny thing. Very tiny thing.
