There they can get a ship then sail to an uninhabited island in the sea of ghosts. There they can build a new town and fort safe from the deadras reach.

The train of 50 people had gotten a head start in the deadra. The goal was to make it to ghostgate. There they can rest then continue to vos through the red mountain shortcut. Thomas was running partailly slow so they could keep up with him. The deadra were still stunned. Thomas thought to himself. We are making good time. We just need to keep it up a little farther.

Garret was making a pass through the Red Mountain shortcut. He didn't like Ghostgate, but when he was attacked by Deadra at Buckmoth,he panicked. They were everywhere. He began to run for ghostgate, knowing that the only way to escape would be to steal a boat,or hire one.His back still ached from the battle against the demon. He quickly spotted the small train of survivors, and caught ran even faster,to the leader."Thomas!",he screamed, running even closer, his voice obtaining a maniacle tone,"The Daedra! They're after me! Buckmoth Fort is destroyed!..I-I-I-I'm scared...This group must move faster,it is to slow! They're coming!"

Laraine slipped into GhostGate. She was but another shadow in the darkness. The Sunchildren were not too far behind, she would scout the fortress.

The halls were dark and empty, torches extinguished. Laraine sped through them swiftly, ensuring that no unpleasant surprises were hidden in the dark corridors. Nearly every door was trapped, the Vampire spent some time disarming them. She entered a large barrack, and immediately sensed a presence. It's blood scent was foul, most unpleasant. Some sort of daedroth definately. Her movements were liquid smooth, flowing from one corner to the next.

In an instant Laraine appeared behind the abberation. The ash zombie turned in the last possible instant, recieving a powerful blow to the chin. This knocked the daemon's jaw backwards, shutting off his arteries for a split second. Enough to make him pass out.

As the Zombie crumpled unconciously to the ground, Laraine stepped on it's neck.

SNAP

The Vampire smiled at the familiar sound. She continued scouting.

The group was huffing and puffing. Most were civilains not trained for this kind of running. Luckily they had reached ghostgate. Thomas hurried everybody inside. Then locked the door. Once inside everybody collapsed to the ground from the fatigue. Alright we can rest 1 hour. Then we have to go.

(I'm sorry.I must be getting paranoid,or bored.I always think I'm being nignored when I'm bored.)

After emptying the potion, and slapping fifty coins into Thomas's pouch,Garret began to speak,"There are about twelve Daedra following me,I outran them quickly. But they will arrive here any minute now.Possibly, they lost me,and tried to come the long way.But they knew I was headed for Ghostgate.
