*removes all of his extravagant clothing and removes his gloves, and begins to cut the fish open, gutting it, skinning it, then removing hte parts edible to people with lesser jaw strangth. He then cuts these peices into smaller ones, then hands them to Grifior for roasting, dives into the seas, washes off, gets back on the boat and dons his usual attire.*

Grifion followed Vidar and got beside him."What's up, don't like the crowd."

She gave him a friendly nock on the back and put the skooma pipe beside him."This will help , trust me"She said going back up on deck.

Laraine's lips curled upwards in a slight smile. "You could say that...."she said, then continued "As you have obviously noticed, I am a Vampire. I have awesome strength, swiftness, and intelligence, but for a heafty price. A Day-walker like yourself must sleep and eat to survive. I need naught of those. However..." she leaned in closer, so that she was face to face with the Commander "The dark too, must feed." She gave him a knowing look.

"There must be someone....insignificant....enough here....." she said.

*back with the crowd*

Ok, then. Is anyone here a cook? he asked the crowd of people. Several people raised their hands, and he set them all to cooking the fish. Some of the more cultured chefs knew a few ways to cook other parts of the fish, including one who knew how to make a dish using only the scales and herbs. The large fish was goign to be enough to at least whet the appetite of everyone. He bagan to head to where the rest of his comrades were, but slowed when he noticed the faces on them.

"I have lived my whole life, and I can assure you it wasn't short, in the forest. I don't know much about vampires, but If I know your problem. A potion or a herb can really do wonders if used corectly."She said Blincking to Laraine.
