blood n mud giving me trouble...

this sounds so ridiculous because its an EXE. basically it installs itsself but for some reason its not picking up in my data files where i click the X to activate it..... any advise is welcome ive never had tooo much trouble with mods that some foolin around with wouldnt fix especially exe's!!!

 

and yes i extracted and installed in the data files folder.

I don't know this mod, but does have it any esp or esm? if it just changes textures this can be the case.

i was just going through them and yes i found an esp file. supposedly properly placed bye the auto installer.

Are you saying there is an esp file in your data file that doesn't shows up in the load list?

Are you using Vista?

 

Edit: Some mods are meant to be installed in the data folder, others installs in the game root folder (normally they have an internal /data folder). Others need to be unpacked in a temp folder and there chose what move to correct place.

yes im using vista, the esp file is placed inside the datafile folder

 

 

opps read that wrong.... the esp file is not showing up in the morrowind mod list. the list where i activate the diactive various mods.

 

i just got it to show up now... the esp was in its own datafile in a datafile. so i put it in the daddy data file and now im goona test.. thanks for your advise dude.

The problem with filtering new posts in the forum is sometimes I forget looking if it is an Oblivion post :)

Anyway, I know a few tricks about Morrowind too, but nothing about Vista beyond installing something in the C:\Program Files is awkward and secure headache.

 

I'm quiting now, hope someone more experienced with vista comes in help.

 

Edit: Ah, you already saw the problem and corrected it... that OK so.
