Note reinstalling doesn't "refresh" the Oblivion.ini file nor the /data folder contents. Just as a first try backup the C:\My Documents\....\Oblivion\Oblivion.ini copy the Oblivion_defaults.ini from the install folder overwriting that Oblivion.ini (delete it and rename the former) and try again. Edit: that procedure can overlap some changes introduced by mods, but some, as the Streamline will redo what it changed. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

With FCOM installed the ESM's look for certian ESP's to be present and if they arn't the game will instantly crash. I'll upload my FCOMhelper.txt file for you to look at when I go home for lunch today. :rolleyes: Hmmm just noticed that you are making it to the loading screen, this means that you have gotten through your ESMs and the game is loading the ESP's, I'd try to get a stable FCOM setup running (nothing else) then start adding other mods. When ever I have reinstalled my game I install the core game files, then the official patches, then the unofficial patches, then Warcry, then Fran's, then MMM, then OOO, then FCOM. Their are alot of ADD-ON files for MMM, OOO, and FCOM and making sure you have all the correct ones installed can be tricky. At this point I usually try to run the game. If every thing is working ok, I add other mods that require FCOM support like Exnem-Rune skulls and activate the coresponding FCOM support files, etc... and test game again, then I keep adding files in similar groups (magic mods, landscape mods, etc..) until I have everything installed again. When you run FCOMhelper it will tell you to delete or replace alot of the Fran's files with FCOM ones, after you do this you should be all set. luceid Posted July 26, 2008 Author Share Posted July 26, 2008 I reinstalled Harvest Containers (hoped it would help for the meshes), but it didn't help.Seems to be a problem with the folder structure.The HC esp is disabled, playing without any mods brings the containers back as usual.So it's either a folder structure problem or something with the esp's.
