nosisab
Wow! By George Do I have it?! Please can you tell me what to type in for the saves. I am clueless. Thanks everyone for helping. I am almost there. :biggrin:Using the console to make saves is useful when we wish that saves having personalized names. normally you just press the ESC key to make normal saves. the command console to save is: Savegame "ChoseName" just this. that save will appear in the load screen as normal. Edit: if the name doesn't have spaces the quotes can be ignored. Edit2: Since we got there I suggest you getting a very good utility called The OBSE Launcher and another named Character Manager. The first place several things in one only place, the second is interesting to keep different characters in their own folders. Very useful when experimenting with such, even the quick and automatic saves goes in the correct folders.
QueenSahara
Ok, so far I have clicked on the Tilde ~ and typed in 'help'. Stuff does appear. I went to that website for instruction but could get any saved slots. While the console was opened to the help page I clicked on 'New Save' and then typed in RosentiaHouse', no space. The still under the help command the next line was this was not found. Don't know what I am suppose to do to get 'New Saves' in slots. I'm trying!

Edit: Isn't necessary opening the options to save a game from console. this can be done directly from the game world. Edit2: is common practice saving first time from console as to have a personalized name save and after saving over it by the normal means (pressing ESC and saving from the option clicking that saved name)
