cdiddy
Take the Orc in the mage guild library. He has given me 3 "go get this book" quests so far and was wondering if these kind of quests ever have an ending to them?
SubjectProphet
Side quests in Skyrim never end. Bounties, as an example. They're infinite and never end.
Thynar
Would be kind of creepy if they did end, wouldn't they?
vertex23
Would be kind of creepy if they did end, wouldn't they? About as creepy as there being an infinite amount of books that need to be found ;)
Rennn
It's better to have tedious things to do, than to have nothing to do. The random quests could certainly be better, but they're probably handled better than any other random quests in games. It's a low bar.
GoodfellowGoodspring
It would be useful to have the option to cancel a quest, i usually end up getting quests by wandering through the towns and talking to people then realise that the npc wants something and either exit dialogue and run away or have a pointless quest log in my menu which i have no intention of competing.. Zazoomah
It would be useful to have the option to cancel a quest, i usually end up getting quests by wandering through the towns and talking to people then realise that the npc wants something and either exit dialogue and run away or have a pointless quest log in my menu which i have no intention of competing.. ^this back on topic, I haven't gotten bored of the night mother side quests yet (and this is comming from someone who has been doing them since completing the dark brotherhood questline two days <exaggeration> after game's release), They're better than running out of people to assassinate. This was one of the things i hated in oblivion how i couldn't get anymore contracts. Edited May 22, 2012 by Zazoomah
