Hey everyone hopefully someone can help me out.

My issue is that the game starting menu works fine but when I hit 'continue game' then It becomes laggy, loads a few screens, then crashes before it even starts.

Here is my load order

0 0 Fallout3.esm
1 1 Anchorage.esm
2 2 ThePitt.esm
3 3 BrokenSteel.esm
4 4 PointLookout.esm
5 5 Zeta.esm
6 6 Mart's Mutant Mod.esm
7 7 EVE.esm
8 8 RubblePilesFix.esp
9 9 Chems and Meds Re-Textures Pack.esp
10 a dD - Enhanced Blood Main.esp
11 b Mart's Mutant Mod.esp
12 c Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Broken Steel.esp
13 d Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC The Pitt.esp
14 e Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Zeta.esp
15 f Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Point Lookout.esp
16 10 Mart's Mutant Mod - Zones Respawn.esp
17 11 Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Anchorage.esp
18 12 Mart's Mutant Mod - Natural Selection.esp
19 13 Mart's Mutant Mod - Tougher Traders.esp
20 14 Mart's Mutant Mod - Master Menu Module.esp

Please see "How to ask for help" and provide all the information noted there. https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/How_to_ask_for_help

You MMM plugins are not in the correct order. Any mod that has multiple plugins must have those plugins in the same order as the game DLCs.

Thanks for the info. Your solution didn't help either btw.

Well it is possible the save is corrupted ... but when you say continue , that means you are loading the save held in the auto save slot? So do you have a save position just prior to it , or atleast not to much earlier ?

Look at the play times on them.

But before you go loading any saves in game. Go to your "MyDocuments/MyGames/Fallout3/Saves"

And copy the "autosave.fos" and "autosave.fos.bak" and place them outside the save folder. So you don't lose them.

Also try using the backup ... Which you would delete/move ... the "autosave.fos" (after copy and paste it into another folder)

Then rename the "autosave.fos.bak" by just removing the " .bak "

However sometimes .bak files don't like to work and won't be recognized at runtime.

But a trick to make them work , is to drop them on your desk top ... rename them there.

Then put them back in their folder.
