Squeecky
So, I started to experience this first when I was trying to get the Live & Love edition 10, Nuke The Man. Then I started noticing it when I tried to open a cooking fire.. I loaded back to earlier saves where I didn't have this issue, and it was there too suddenly. I made a new game, with all of my mods disabled and spawned myself the magazine at the start of the game as a test, and the same issue is happening, despite not having mods on now.. So as the title suggests, my game freezes and stops responding. Any idea what this could be? I'd say 'I don't want to start a new game I spend 48 hours building in the workshop so far' but since it doenst work on a new game anyway that's a moot point.I'll put a list down of mods I usually have on. 0 0 Fallout4.esm 1 1 DLCRobot.esm 2 2 DLCworkshop01.esm 3 3 DLCCoast.esm 4 4 DLCworkshop02.esm 5 5 DLCworkshop03.esm 6 6 DLCNukaWorld.esm254 FE 0 ccbgsfo4003-pipboy(camo01).esl254 FE 1 ccbgsfo4004-pipboy(camo02).esl254 FE 2 cceejfo4001-decorationpack.esl254 FE 3 ccbgsfo4045-advarccab.esl254 FE 4 ccgcafo4008-factionws08inst.esl254 FE 5 ccgcafo4009-factionws09mm.esl254 FE 6 ccgcafo4011-factionws11vt.esl254 FE 7 ccgcafo4017-factionas06inst.esl254 FE 8 ccgcafo4018-factionas07mm.esl254 FE 9 ccgcafo4022-factionas11vt.esl254 FE a ccbgsfo4053-dggoldr.esl254 FE b ccbgsfo4056-dglabb.esl254 FE c ccrzrfo4003-pipover.esl DLCUltraHighResolution.esm 7 7 Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch.esp 8 8 SpringCleaning.esm 9 9 ArmorKeywords.esm 10 a Loads.esm 11 b NewCalibers.esp 12 c SimSettlements.esm 15 f Knockout Framework.esm 16 10 TrueStormsFO4.esm 18 12 Homemaker.esm 19 13 Companion Infinite Ammo and Unbreakable Power Armour.esm 21 15 Robot Home Defence.esm 22 16 SettlementKeywords.esm 23 17 EthreonMasterPlan.esp254 FE d GraveDigger.esl 24 18 CommonwealthConifersREDUX.esp 25 19 TrueGrass.esp 26 1a settlemods_collection105.esp 28 1c BetterModDescriptions.esp 29 1d Armorsmith Extended.esp 30 1e Armorsmith All DLCs Patch.esp 31 1f The Eyes Of Beauty.esp 32 20 Dogmeat's Backpack.esp 33 21 K9TacticalHarness.esp 34 22 Automatron Protectrons Expanded.esp 35 23 Lots More Male Hairstyles.esp 36 24 AzarPonytailHairstyles.esp 37 25 CROSS_GoreCrits.esp 38 26 CROSS_GoreCrits_FarHarborPatch.esp 39 27 dD-Enhanced Blood Basic.esp 40 28 dD - Dunno about the stance on it here. But seeing the new game without mods doesn't really work either, I doubt it's even relevant.Thanks in advance so much! JimmyRJump
No need to hide NSFW mods, even if they're from Lover's Lab. Have you tried without the Ultra High Definition DLC? A pack of trouble that one is and there's far better options amongst the plethora of retexture mods.
Squeecky
The Ultra High DLC is turned off, hence the number infront of it is nonexistant. ^^' I was told it didn't work well with a lot of mods. Thanks for the reply, by the way!Well, the mods I have are RSE, framework and animations, basicly.
Squeecky
Is there anything I could remove, potentionally (I tried logs already) that would come back on it's own and fix this? Since it happens in a new game too?
JimmyRJump
Do an integrity check through steam to make sure all the game's files are present and in their vanilla state.
Squeecky
It failed to find 8 things and downloaded them, which woohoo.. But it didn't work, sadly. Thanks for the reply though Jimmy. :)
Algabar
It failed to find 8 things and downloaded them, which woohoo.. But it didn't work, sadly. Thanks for the reply though Jimmy. There are probably still leftovers from mods, that were previously installed. If there's something left from mods and these leftovers are the real cause for the issue, "repairing" the base game won't help. I think the problem might be "disabling" mods: When you disable a mod, you basically just set the mod's plugin files (.esp, .esm, .esl) as "inactive". If the problem isn't a plugin file, but e.g. a corrupted mesh, simply disabling mods won't solve the issue. You have to completely uninstall mods to be sure. So, what can you do? I'd start with all mods enabled and try to narrow down the list of possible culprits:- Which mods did you install last? Start with uninstalling (not only disabling) them.- Did you try with other magazines - or just that special issue of "Live & Love"? Does every magazine make the game freeze?- Also: Look for mods that add recipes to the cooking station. What about e.g. armor mods, that add their stuff to the cooking station instead of the chemistry lab? On a sidenote: Probably not the cause of your issues, but did you use LOOT? Some things in your load order seem strange:- BetterSettlersNoLollygagging.esp before the main file of "Better Settlers"- The whole placement of Vivid Weathers, True Storms and "Synergy" seems to be a mess Apart from (possible) load order issues:- "Spring Clean" and "Scrap Everything" together is IMHO risky - use one or the other- "EthreonMasterPlan.esp" is an outdated file. The current version is an .esm file. Make sure to update your Ethreon mods.
Squeecky
Alright, I'll try that.. Dang. That sounds like a painful progress that might potentionally break my save, too. The latest stuff I've installed is actually creation club stuff. As for LOOT, aye, did use it. Only things I put lower on the list is the companion mod and RSE because they need to be lower to work right. It's all magazines and all work stations, bobbleheads too. I don't suppose there's any way to trick the game they're uninstalled? Nah, wouldn't make sense.. I'll have to just make a list in a text file, so I don't forget incase it doesnt work. Thanks, I'll try all that. >.<Edit: The old 'Masterplan' brought up a menu of what you needed, this one just installed with nothing offered. Is that right?Edit2: Uninstalling and installing is going to take a horrible, painful amount of time. Is there anything else you can think of? I mean obviously I will if I have to, but.. Last time I ended up finally having a working game I spend over 24 hours getting things tested one by one. If I right click in the nexus mod manager and click deactivate/uninstall in current profile, does that actually uninstall or just deactivate? Just cutting the creation club stuff out of my data folder is how I remove it, right? Edited July 19, 2018 by Squeecky
JimmyRJump
- "Spring Clean" and "Scrap Everything" together is IMHO risky - use one or the other- "EthreonMasterPlan.esp" is an outdated file. The current version is an .esm file. Make sure to update your Ethreon mods. Spring Cleaning and Scrap Everything should indeed not be used together. The "old" Masterplan mod showed an esp but the file's header was set to Master and the mod always appeared amidst the esm plugs at the top of the load order in NMM. Masterplan always needed to be seen as Master for Ethreon's other mods to work properly when choosing the dependent versions. I'd forego on using Scrap Everything and try Place Everywhere instead. The latter has several advantages over Scrap Everything (like walking and scrapping outside build perimeter, turning off/on snap grid/surface snapping, etc.) and doesn't clash with Spring Cleaning. Be aware Place Everywhere needs F4SE (Fallout 4 Script Extender) to work. Make sure you have a version of F4SE that matches the game's version. Check the archives on Silverlock for older versions. Squeecky
I have F4SE and Place Everywhere already. Both F4SE and Place Everywhere were updated recently-- I must've missed that Place Everywhere allows you to scrap random stuff too. So in that case, I suppose I should just leave out Scrap Everything. Is there any other cause you could think of, Jimmy, that could be causing the crashing? Since thus far it worked together-- and even if I don't use the mods it seems to not work, so. Edit: I don't see anything on the Place Everywhere mod that it does the same as Scrap Everything, but I'll trust you guys on it and get rid of it. Hopefully that won't f*** up my savegame too much.Edit2: It doesn't say anything about scrapping in Place Anywhere, but I'm going to assume it allows it. :) I noticed a lot of mods suddenly have updates so -maybe- updating will help.. But I'm not hopeful. Edited July 19, 2018 by Squeecky
