nosisab
Under C:/Program Files/Bethesda Softworks/Oblivion there is no data file to save into. How do I fix this? I'm running a Windows Vista premium with an 8600 GeForce video cardInstalling games (and I think apllications in general) in the Program Files folder causes several issues and weirdness, there are procedures such as disabling UAC but this seems to lead to others issues. I assume you are in the very beginning, so the better is uninstalling and reinstalling at another folder aways from the Program Files ... you can create something like C:\Games and install there. You can do it even in another partition or driver... whatever you do avoid installing games in C:\Program Files.
steve63457
that shouldn't be a problem normally. i don't think it matters where you put it. And besides, it is the base map where oblivion gets its most important files to run the game, so it simply must be there. maybe it's hidden?
