How do I move Oblivion into a new save file. (ie C:Games/oblivion)?

What are you talking about?

If you mean you want to move the save game files' location you really don't want to, even if you could. Extremely useful programs for modding Oblivion, like Wrye Bash, look for these files in Documents\My Games by default and that is not changeable.

How does this relate to the use of mods?

Your question is not very clear. It reads like 'how do I move my house into my new furniture?'

Are you trying to load a saved game? Want to know how to back up Oblivion? Trying to use a save game from a mod? Trying to use a saved game from a different copy of Oblivion? Trying to move the location of your saved games or Oblivion? Want to move the install location of the game to a different location? Or something completely different?

I will be happy to try to help if I can figure out what it is you are trying to do.

I apologize for not being very clear

I've downloaded the Oblivion Mod Manager and I'm running a Vista.

In order to download mods as a limited user, Oblivion cannot be saved in the program files folder that it is defaulted to. It says that most people move it to a file named c:games/oblivion/data.

I was wondering how to do such a thing. I'm hoping I won't have to Uninstall.

Thanks

The better is reinstalling, I dare not pretend I know how Vista works, but I say you it is magnitude orders more critical at the installation folder moving than it's former versions.

Avoid yourself all kind of troubles making a whole new install.

The same way I changed to XP only after it maturate enough to be a real option over W98, Vista is something its users will pay dearly until it becomes "functional" enough to this... but I think it'll have the same fate Windows Millenium... being forever a mediocre transition to something that actually works.
