Please Advise - CTD on Initialization of Character

Aloha,

 

First off I want to give thanks for any help you folks can provide.

 

I'm having a very consistent issue where I CTD upon the character initialization (the very beginning after creating a character - *note* I am using "live another life"). I've tried doing what research I can on this but I could really use assistance. The CTD will usually occur about a minute or so into the initialization (as the addons and plugins are loading on the top left of the screen).

I've also attached my papyrus log (I don't know if that will help but I hope so).

PC Specs are as follows:

i7 7700K Overclocked to 5.0gHz

16GB RAM

Strix GTX 1080

512GB MDME SSD

I've checked as much as I can using LOOT to look for any conflicts as well as BOSS. I feel like it's either a load order thing but I could be wrong. Please advise. Thank you so much!

Since you're running SSE, then it shouldn't be a memory problem. I would suggest disabling your mods (not uninstalling, just unchecking) except for those which you use for character creation (like hairs and eyes) and mods which must run from the beginning of the game (like Multiple Adoptions).

 

Once you've gotten to Riverwood, you can re-enable your mods. This trick should get you past the point where the game is trying to load everything, but then screams "gaaaahhh" and shuts down. :D

 

If everything loads fine after you try this trick, then you're good to go from this point on.

Loot throws Live another life to the very bottom of my load order right above my Dual redux and Batched patch...have you tried putting it at the very bottom? Just because Loot put it there where you have it doesn't mean it still won't cause problems where you have it...believe me I've been through this many times.
