KingCinnamon
Hey! I just found a way to rename NPCs in my gameplay. It requires Extended Follower Framework (EFF) in which, in my experience, works better than AFT. There's a renaming "NICKNAME" function in there. First, I went straight to renaming but when you exchange equipments, the NPCs original name will appear. Then, I came across about the SetActorFullName cheat code. Finally, I figured it out. Use "SetActorFullName" first. There's supposed to be a code after it, just look it up. The use rename function from EFF. That's it. Oh, make sure to click on the NPC. greyday01
Hi Rinobi, thankyou for your kind advice. I downloaded the CK last night. I will give it a go, thankyou.I think I got hold of the wrong end of the stick, I read your Sig "Open your eyes" and mistakenly thought it was directed at me. My deepest apologies. Edit.Just done it with the CK. Brilliant, thanks for all your help. Sorry for before. For the original poster. Be cautious about using the Creation Kit. Before you know it you will be addicted and find you have no time for playing, you are having too much fun making your mod. I started out trying to add a simple basement to Breezehome for storage and 3 years later it had grown into a complex of sites spanning Skyrim. The only playing I had time for was in testing my mod in game. It's actually more fun than the game.
