WastelandAssassin
you can create a WIP thread in this forum (the Mod Talk forum is generally the place for such threads)that way you can open it up to discussion , and portray pictures and videos as you please (and you can edit your own posts , so you can update the main post when you need , while having conversations in the comments)in my opinion this will be the best way to do this if you want it on this siteonce you actually have a mod that people can test , you could upload it and make discussions that way , though I would recommend doing testing with fewer trusted users and only releasing when you have a proper version (as you only have one release , and you want it to be as robust as you can to get as much activity . uploading too soon will probably result in your mod getting buried , so it'll be harder for users to find it) you can obviously create a blog on whichever blog site you wish to use , or start a project page on Moddb or something like this , there are plenty of options (hell , you can even use social media like FB to create a project page and update through there as well , though it would be best to work along side other means of publicity , as you need people to know of those social media pages)making a YT channel where you upload trailers or development diaries is also something that would work , if you are interested in actually making trailers and such (though like other social media , I recommend this along side something more major , to attract users to it) there are probably other answers I didn't even consider , but hopefully this will at least give you a decent basis to start working withbest of luck :)
SandMouseAnarchy
Thanks for the reply mate :) that sounds like great advice :)I didn't realise people could use the 'mod talk' section of the forum for things like that, but I really like that idea ^.^
WastelandAssassin
no problem and as an example , on of the projects I'm looking forward to trying is https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/5100310-wip-weapon-addition-and-replacement-suite-wars/it's a WIP thread in the mod talk section , and you can see how it's being updated as progress is made (at least if you follow it for enough time)this is just one example , but yeah it's one of the reasons for this section in the forums , so go ahead and use that and once you do set up your WIP page , please reply here with a link . I would love to check what you have planned :)
