helpp! editing INI file to change Followers Spacing Distance... :(

hello can someone help me with "fFollowSpaceBetweenFollowers" ? seeing a "f" in the beginning makes me think that its a skyrim INI settings in this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/28009/?tab=description&BH=1

I have tried skytweak can modify this but i hate skytweak because i need to wait around 7 seconds for skytweak to load from local memory

i also have tried editing skyrim.ini and i put this in the bottom of the line :

[Gameplay]
fFollowSpaceBetweenFollowers=0

and its not working
by default followers spacing is 192
i have big army of dead thrall and every time i go somewhere they follow me and they stay away each other (by default)

can someone help me please ? :sad:

Hello! It appears that there are a few issues with your current way of doing this. The "fFollowSpaceBetweenFollowers" line is actually a game setting and in this case that means it can't be changed with adding a line to your .ini files. You would have to make a plugin that manually sets that setting to whatever value you want or you could use a script or even a console command to change it. One more thing, I'm not completely sure if it matters but I would recommend defining that value with decimals. That line is a float value and floats consist of "X.XXXX". You could try to open your console and type "setgs fFollowSpaceBetweenFollowers 1.0". In some cases putting a value as 0 can make the whole thing invalid or just false so I recommend setting the value to anything above 0.0.

If you try EFF it has some extensive controls for followers spacing among other things...don't know if you have EFF or don't want to have it, but that is an option.
