ValisValero
Pretty self explanatory. Couldn't find this covered anywhere. If I did, I'd be thankful for someone to point me in the right direction. Lemme know if I need to give any config or setup specifics, too.

ValisValero
Thanks. I assume that's consensus with the statement being as definitive as it is. May I be so bold as to inquire what the mechanic is that prevents this from being an option? I like learning.

ValisValero
I see. Wish I knew how to work the programs, I prolly have the desire and time to actually put the months in that it would take to do the conversions. I've got the will and the ability, but not the knowledge.

I had thought about browsing Oldrim Nexus to find additional things that haven't been converted(For instance there's a "Blackreach Overhaul" on there that hasn't been ported to SSE) but now I know better. Definitely going to stay away from doing that, at least until I become more knowledgeable.
QuagaarWarrior
@HadToRegister - not sure I understand the question. Obviously you can install an Oldrim mod (even if it has a FOMOD) then convert it?
DavinaJo
problem is to convert a mod from the original Skyrim to SE means you have to run it through SE Construction Kit and if you never mess with the original version then SE is just going to be impossible until someone creates a set of Tutorials covering everything. QuagaarWarrior
Again, not sure I understand. There are plenty of guides out there on how to convert mods. For those mods where all you need to do is convert meshes, resave the ESP and perhaps sort the water flow records it is a pretty simple process
UrizenDe
If it is a simple esp, the answer is actually yes. It only needs resaving in CK. If the Mod comes with a .bsa, you need to additionally repack the .bsa so it conforms to SE standards ( obviously after you converted meshes for SE use ). Meshes need to be converted to SE. Textures need no additional treatment and work out of the box. They seem to be darker than on Oldrim though.
