New version of F4SE causing CTD when trying to load saves, start new game.

So basically i cant play. Every time I try to load a save or start a game i get a CTD in the laoding screen. I can seem to find anything online about this, reddit has failed me, and now im here.

So I do play with mods, but in this case, I get an identical crash wether i have 200 mods, or I am running vanilla skyrim with no mods or DLC. The game will load if I do not use F4SE, but what the hell is the point of playing vanilla fallout anyway.

So before anyone tells me that im using the wrong version, I have quadruple checked that I'm using the current version of F4SE (0.6.11), along side the current version of the game (1.10.106), so its not a problem with the versions, which leaves me stumped on what the f*#@ is causing this problem.

Any suggestions?

Is it a CTD or just a really long loading screen, if its a long load screen it just means you have to wait as FO4 takes a while to load with mods. However if its a straight CTD you may need to reinstall the game, meaning delete everything in your Steamapps/Common/Fallout 4 folder after you uninstall from steam. This may fix your problem, its something I just had to do and nothing really happened except I hadn't played it for a while.

"The game will load if I do not use F4SE, but what the hell is the point of playing vanilla fallout anyway. "

90% of the mods for fallout 4 does not require F4SE, so you wont be playing a vanilla fallout without it, unless your mod list is exclusively F4SE plugins, but since you say you run 200 mods, this is highly unlikely.

with that said, what f4se plugins are you currently running ? (it will most likely be an f4se plugin causing the ctd rather then f4se itself)

Had the same issue. Checked my SE folder to see what mods needed the SE. Cleaned out all of them (and deleted all of my SE files) - there were 5- and downloaded/reinstalled the newest versions - and SE once again. I think one of them didn't want to play ball. But I could do without it. Those I really care for just needed updating. Runs fine now.
