Deleted3082751User
ignore the warnings, the majority of them are redundant, besides you can always check your mod in F04Edit, to double check potential issues, and likewise fix them. the creation kit will throw warnings just by loading it. so yea, just ignore them for now, and go about creating your mod. as said, if you get serious issues, you can fix them using F04Edit, so yea if your paranoid about the creation kit errors, just create the mod, then check it in F04Edit. the Creation Kit Shares the same issues as the Game, meaning both are not perfect (far from it in fact) but they work. you will get a ridiculous amount of Creation Kit Warnings when attempting to load multiple master files, but the mod if done correctly will work perfectly in game, so yea, you can ignore 90% of them Creation Kit errors/warnings. Post by 'twistedfatal' contains forms which generated warnings on load. Check the EditorWarnings.txt file for <CURRENT> warnings. p.s. Also 'TEXTURES: TEXTURE ERROR : Unable to load file 'Data\Textures\DarkGray.dds' :) I got used to only click it away after loading and before saving but while using the CK it's often easier to just leave it open and in the background rather than continuously accepting those warnings. (during editing cells it is more annoying though).
Deleted3082751User
@dikr, i have been creating mods with the creation kit for over 7+ years, i know exactly what i am talking about. the majority of the warnings/errors is to do with bethesda own master files. look how many errors/warnings you get just by loading the master files. Try opening just the base game .esm and Nuka World...NW is loaded with all sorts of nasty sounding messages. I use a dual monitor set up and just push the warning window off to the second monitor and size it down so it's out of the way. It's pretty unobtrusive that way. Keep in mind that the warning messages can be helpful for detecting problems in the mods you're working on. I edit the Warning Layout template (Click the ... button next to the Layout pulldown at the top of the Warning window) so the <CURRENT> flag is shown in red. At a glance I can filter out any warning from the mod I'm working on as it will stand out in red against the default black of the vanilla game warning. Evangela
You can just resize the warning box small enough that you don't notice its there. It always prints a log anyway, so if things are screwy you can check it.
