SkyUI incompatible menu files

Dear Everyone,

Everytime i press I (or P) to open the menu i get an error from SKYui. It says it has incompatible menu files. I've searched the web for mods that could interfere with SKYui but i really do not understand why its giving me the error. Also when i try to uninstall SKYui i still have it ingame, but without the mod configuration tab. When i search my skyrim installation folder and i delete everything that has got something to do with skyui i get a CTD when i press I to open inventory.

UPDATE: I've disabled every mod besides Live another Life and it still gives me the same error. I think there are some files from an older installation of skyUI left in my folders, but then again. If i delete everything that has to do with skyUI i cant even open my inventory because it crashes. HELP!

How did you sort the load order? My skyui works fine but itâs way higher in the load order. Not sure if thatâs an issue. Worth a try though maybe.

I also get a Skyui error. But only on the first time I fire up the map on each play session. I can live with that.

 

SkyUI Error Code 5, a incompatible Menu File, map.swf.

 

I got IcePenguinWorldMap, and coloredmapmarkers installed.

Sure I'd like to fix it, but since it's a minor annoyance for me, i let it go.. I like my map and colored icons.

 

I noticed you got a couple marker mods in your list.. I'd start there.

 

Edit: I never get any menu errors for inventory etc., only map. I'm using SKSE64 2.0.10, and the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch-266-4-1-4, not 5a, cause that seemed to break my SKSE...

Sorry for my english.. But, as far as I know, SkyUi dosnt's using default Flash Player files menu (SWF) and that's why incompatible happens. But, I've got solution this problem! You have to fallow the path where your game is installed (doesn't matter Skyrim or Enderal) and open folder - Data/Interface and after that you have to delete 8 files from there:

1). bartermenu.swf

2).containermenu.swf

3).craftingmenu.swf

4).favoritesmenu.swf

5).giftmenu.swf

6).inventorymenu.swf

7).magicmenu.swf

8).map.swf ( about this one,I'm not sure, I mean about Map.swf lol..)

After that SkyUi new functions interface will be unlocked..Btw, if you not sure about this way of solution, before you will start to delete something please, make BackUP of Interface folder.

@Bandios11 (and anyone else reading this after 5 years):  That "incompatible menu files" means another mod is replacing at least some of the same UI files as SkyUI.  @JonnyMason listed them -- see if any of your other mods also replace these:

If I remember right, SkyUI should say which one isn't compatible, in that warning.  (E.g., back in LE, I had a map mod that popped up that warning for map.swf because it also replaced that file.)

If the mod adds something you want to keep, you can disable the warning in SkyUI's MCM controls, and just use its version of that UI part instead of SkyUI's.  Otherwise, uninstall that mod, or look for a patched version that's compatible with SkyUI.
