Its just a disease. Besides I like the nighttime. Its so peaceful and the air is so cool. And the people here seem to like you alot. And think about it. When these deadra die morrowind will need a new king. And since I am commander it is gonna be me. And I cannot rule morrowind without a queen now can I.

Thomas began rubbing Laraines back in slow smooth circles.

The moon on that night is still very bright, as though it were trying its hardest to reflect as much light as the sun put out. A shadow appears on the ground in front of them. Before they have time to think about this, Renkii appears in front of them, startling neither of their seasoned eyes, although surprising them a little. He was, however, not wearing his usual hat and robe, instead just wearing a plain dark brown shirt and pants. Please forgive me, he said. I ahd no intention of discovering any part of your personal lives. I had left much of my thigns behind earlier to go swimming, and when i returned, i discovered that my book was not as i had left it. I immediately flipped through... and found faint spots of blood on the pages of my last entry. I suddenly realized, to my horror, what had happened. I then left everything but my clothes, ring, and hammer, and ran as fast as i could to the tomb. I got there too late, however, jsut in time to see miss Laraine hack down the last of the skeleton guards. I was then relieved, realizing, to my humor somewhat, what had happened. This axe, at the time of its being laid to rest, was given a curse. You, miss Laraine, of course know what the strange characters say on the stone. They are in an ancient writing used by vampires, which is why i could not decipher it. IT's curse was not the guards that popped up, but its curse is that anyone who bears the axe is turned into a vampire, instantly. I found this out from a peice if paper held by what i assume to be his ancient wife, buried below him. It described, in detail, the curse of the axe. Her last attempt to save the poor adventurer to stumble upon this cave. I did not record this, as it slipped my mind. Which is why, not only did you not recive the vampiric curse, you also recieved its drain health spell. This spell differes, however, in giving to its bearer the health of the hit in a form that vampires can use, in blood. So, as long as anyone else that does not wish to become a vampire does not handle it, it is a fine weapon.
