Soooo my favorite 9 games from E3 are here, in no order because I like them all and couldn't decide which are better... 9 because I felt 10 was too many but 5 was not nearly enough!

  1. The Last of Us
  2. Dead Space 3
  3. Beyond: Two Souls
  4. Dishonored
  5. Assassin's Creed 3
  6. Simcity
  7. Starwars 1313
  8. Hitman: Absolution
  9. Borderlands 2

Aww I feel like I should add Resident Evil 6... Oh! And Farcry 3! ZombiU also looks cool...

Of course Black Ops 2 looks cool and so does some other things but I can't just list everything...

Now, I'm unsure how I feel about The Elder Scrolls Online, it looks interesting but I'm not sure.... Same with the new Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance game...

However here is the one, the only ONE I can think of that makes me wanna go cry in some desolate corner:

Fable The Journey... WHY!? :wallbash:

And I am switching consoles for The Last of Us and Beyond: Two Souls since the one reason I stayed Xbox, Fable, is a fluffing rail shooter! Of course Halo 4 is one reason to stay Xbox, but without my lil' Arbs in that game its not worth it. Well maybe.

Yeah there are soooo many games that companies are changing the direction of their games, and I feel like its all going towards more action games...

The fact that it's pretty much the same as every other year. Dozens of sequels we all knew were coming anyway and a handful of new IPs.

Yeah, and I got kind of excited about some, such as Fable, but then once I saw on the TV what it was... Well... no more.

Haha I like your dissapointments, games like that always make me wanna go buy a PS3. And I forgot about X-COM, of course that is the game that the aliens make me think of nightmares I had when I was little. I would be in my house and these aliens, brown and wrinkly like ET, but shaped a lot like and with a glowing heart like the ones in X-COM. When I saw a preview for that game I was like... That... Is... Weird.

Halo 4 looks... Halo. My biggest delight about it is that in all the interviews 343 did about it, the thing they were talking most about in all of them were the premise, setting and story. I always feel a little more confident about a game and studio when I hear the devs spruiking it based on it's concept and plot, rather than it's (stunning) graphics or action. When they get to distracted talking about the relationship between two characters to talk about the gunplay, you know they atleast tried their best to give it a story.

Borderlands 2 looks brilliant. You can tell a lot about a game by the dev's mood when they're presenting it, and Randy Pitchford looked to be probably the most chilled person at E3 besides Myamoto. Borderlands 2 would be hard to stuff up-some new guns, some new toys, some new characters. But they're clearly trying damn hard, kudos to them for that, and so far it looks to be really shaping into a classic-to-be.

AC3: I left AC for a while when they launched revelations and brotherhood. It felt like it was Ubisoft trying to sell me one game in three bites, and I dislike that. It also felt like the action was getting a bit stale, AC3's new setting, characters and game dynamics are just what it needs to return to masterpiecedom.

A new God Of War game. Just toss in Kratos, some giant glowey swords, and a lot of carnage. That always works.

Black Ops 2. A Sci-Fi COD game? seriously? and people say COD never changes. I unabashedly loved MW3, if this is anything like it in spirit, it could well be brilliant.

Crysis 3. Pretty graphics, new setting, continuation of a story I really did enjoy in 1 and 2.

X-Com looks sweet. I always wanted to play the original, never got the chance. I also love thinking games like that.

---------------

Wii-U. Rubbish name, and it's basically a new controller for an already morbidly inferior console. Nintendo is trying to claw back some of the hardcore market but frankly I think it's far too late for that, the Wii had what, two? hardcore games. After a decade of it being the console for kiddies and grandmas, I don't think Mr Myamoto can just snap his fingers and bring back the 1980s glory days. Nintendo's cooked it's goose.

Dishonoured. Bethesda's take on Bioshock looks truly miserable indeed. I hated Bioshock for being too linear and uninspiring/not emotionaly involving and having morbidly monotonous gunplay, this if anything looks even worse. It looks like Bethesda had no clear design idea for Dishonoured, and that they just piled a bunch of disjointed concepts together, threw it on a Gamebryo engine, and hoped people would assume they were being "artistic" And it's a Beth game, which means it'll be unplayable at launch.

MOH looks pathetic, it looks genuinely indestinguishable from MW3 and BF3. Another conformist, imagination-devoid "modern warfare scenario" The biggest brag the devs could come up with was "it's going to be a global war" Well, so was MW3, and BF3. Infact, if you want a global war, why not just get Ghost Recon FS and be a little nonconformist?

Forza: Horizon is my biggest fail. It had such a strong niche as a SIM, so why are they making it into and Arcade game? That's going either work like a charm, or bite Microsoft in the ass like a rabid pitbull.

Honestly, none of the games at E3 got my attention. It mostly just was sequels to sequels. Dishonored looked pretty dumb, ESO I won't even start on how much that angers me. All the other games seemed meh to me, nothing looked cool or exciting.

The Wii U seems interesting, but Nintendo needs to get off their butts and make a better system. The Wii is fun, but it's meant for the little ones. I don't think they are going to do too well with this.

Only thing that did make me mad is that they finally have a release date for Tomb Raider....March 2013 >:( Guess I know what I want for my birthday then :P
