newbie saying hi

hi.

(my ugly soul wants to leave the "hi" there alone)

Pls, I don't know where this post should be, cause actually I'm asking for help.

so, I've started playing Oblivion for about a week. Then I notice how horrible it is to get those +5, that's when I learned about these mods. So I installed that +5 attributes mod for whenever I level up two times a related skill. Was easy to install alright.

Then I kept playing my char, when it reached 100 attribute cap and I want to keep going. So I met the AV uncapper. Then I learned that to make av uncapper works, I need the script extender, and now I'm not sure what to do. I have moved the files of the extender where it seems to be the right place (atleast the obse_loader is able to execute game alright and I can load a game, but is it working?) and the av uncapper files I'm not sure where to put them, also, dunno if it will work in my existing character or I'll have to make a new one.

Can an enlightened soul patiently help me?

Readme with AV uncapper should tell you where to put the files. (its a plugin for OBSE, isn't it?) Or, in the file description on the mod page. if it is installed properly, it should be working, you'll find out next time you level up. :) Welcome to Nexus. :D

Hi HeyYou thanks for your help. I read the readme files (silly me!) of all I've downloaded and its working.

It was strange that to av uncapper work you just drop the plugins in a folder without the need to setup s#*!. Thing that confuses me is those "source" folders I thought they should be somewhere but in fact they are like... just there. lol perhaps for particular editting.

Good thing too is that I don't need to remake a character. this game is pretty open minded xD thanks man, sorry for my newbieness.

Welcome!

And if you'd like; you can use the link function to give people a direct link to your mod.

Or just paste the address to your mod in your signature to provide a link to your mod, Amnesia Persona 2, making it always visible when ever, where ever you post here on forums nexusmods threads. Then we can just click on Amnesia Persona 2 after you put a link to it and we get directed to it. I like to use the link on words to hide the long page's address so all people will see is (in your case) Amnesia Persona 2 to click on.

Enjoy!
