.:Imrahil:.
I read about an improved Morrowind (somewhere, don't know where anymore). It's supposed to increase vision range and have other improvements. Does anyone have this 'improved Morrowind' and where can I download it? thanateros
I believe what you're referring to is the FPS Optimizer for Morrowind. You can find it by running a search for it in google.
Deleted31005User
Just installed FPS Optimizer for Morrowind on my computer.Truly an ammazing program, no more FPS problems in towns, more visual range(automatic decreasing/increasing of visual range when FPS is low/high), this makes morrowind so much more pleasent to play!!! thx thanateros! :)
Adras
The only thing I dont like about the FPS Optomizer is that whenever I go to talk to someone, the fog just rushes around me, and I cant see a thing that is going on, and it makes me mad. So if I am just planning on running around in the plains or whatever, I usually use it, but when I don city type stuff, or any quests, I dont use it, and live with the high FPS. kadude
There is an option with the FPS optimizer that lets you use the scroll on your mouse to increase/decrease visibility...I used that one all the time !
Deleted31005User
When you talk to someone (which opens a the conversation in a diffrent screen) and you see fog rushing to you, this means you have selected diffrent options for exterior/interior/battles/inventories. Like when you are walking in an exterior your FPS will be between 15-20, when walking in an interior it will be 20-25, when you talk to someone it will be 25-30.Just deactivate those extra options so that even inside buildings, or when talking, your visual range remains the same. Just play a bit with the options to see how it affects the game B)
