tony007
list them. I find Eagle Nest Cottage to be cozy on the inside and peaceful on the outside, you know, when you look out that porch. Oh, don't list buildings that also make you bang your head on the keyboard before you could own them. Ones like Glenvar Castle (or some castle starting with a G. Waste of 20 minutes in boredom and frustration).

Just because a mod makes you think and gives an actual challenge certainly does NOT detract from the wonder of the place and in fact, for myself, enhanced it since I didn't just walk in and somehow own a castle. :P Glenvar, bar none. rhs88
Sorry ya'll. I can't stand those bulky castles and forts. I have to have something just a bit more sleek and shiny. Like RONIN's Snow Dragon Temple. It gives me the pagoda home I never wanted but stay in anyway. You have your own smith on site, and the rooms are very well done. It also has enough little nooks and crannies for a secretive character to hide almost any sized stash. However I can't go without AranMathi by anakondrak. It is large and spacious where it needs to be, but small and orderly in the mage area and treasure room so you don't have to run halfway around the place looking for your favorite dagger or your last Grand soul gem. Not to mention the pool and dining area. Or the multitude of sofas that I keep tripping over. It also has it's own Oblivion Gate for post main campaign deadra massacres. rickythecat
I cleared out a space in the sewers that serves well enough... Hunt rats when I get too hungry, sometimes I go up above and steal a few trinkets. Or were we talking about Oblivion? I like Glenvar.

Aeryn333
Belda Elysium..hands down...awesome fits into the main quest if you wish and is just a awesome modder AVStoryteller, teh detail in this house is bloody gas.. has two Dunmer sisters, that come with the house, that are amasing, a interesting quest, and another one is in the works, and possible romance with one of the two sisters..and the house is feckin' awesome and so is the view..http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View...ail&id=1500 My second favourite is a simple older mod called MY Cave Mod, that had everything in it and to me, is good for beginning character or an advanced one beneath the waters of anvil bay..you get a teleport to my cave spell, the bring you right inside..or swim to the trapdoor under water..has a merchant inside, good fence..if you need one and three alive beasts, that do not move as you up your skills, and a cellar with rats that will attack when you do, to up blocking and armour..simple yet I had since beginning and wouldn't do without mod. tony007
let's pick something with a killer view and killer interiors. I wouldn't have asked you guys if it weren't for the newbies voting everything 10 before they even download the mods (if they download at all), thus making the search for a magnificent castle a pain in the a$$

I wouldn't have asked you guys if it weren't for the newbies voting everything 10 before they even download the mods (if they download at all), thus making the search for a magnificent castle a pain in the a$$ Based on this criteria, I must go with the Ancient Source Firewater Manor. Please read the reviews. And why should you limit yourself to only one, you do need a place to sleep and relax in every town. For the less affluent character, as far as killer views, I still have to suggest Cheydinhal House Altered, *the sunset views are spectacular any time you want*. You will have to explore it to understand though.
