GrayWolf04
Does anyone know how to have more than one weapon visible at any given time? For example, If I was using a rifle and wanted to switch to my side arm, I would put the rifle on my back and then take out my sidearm while still having my rifle visible on my back, and vice versa. Is this possible?
GrayWolf04
Anybody? I'm thinking along the lines of some scripting work and mesh changes, but that's out of my league. Edited June 15, 2012 by GrayWolf04
GrayWolf04
Still no one? Not even a script? Or a "No you can't do that"?
BlackRampage
Are you always this impatient? 3 consecutive posts could be seen as bumping/spamming. But to answer your question: Yes, it can be done. Someone once even made and uploaded a mod that did something like this. However, that person was banned, so the mod is no longer around.
GrayWolf04
It's not a matter of patience. I've seen many other people post new topics and get answers right away. I waited a day at first, then another two days, and still got nothing. I had a feeling that if I had waited another three days, then there would still not be any response. I apologize if I have left a bad impression on the forum's members that I am impatient, because I am quite the opposite. Not to point fingers or anything, but I've seen several of my posts before go unanswered for days at a time. Now in regards to the mod that was removed, do you know how this was done? Was it through a script or something else? I think I saw a description of the mod you are talking about, but I think it applied to the default Fallout 3 weapons only. If that was the case, how would I go about changing this?
BlackRampage
I apologize if I have left a bad impression on the forum's members that I am impatient, because I am quite the opposite.Apology accepted as far as I'm concerned. The Fo3 part of the Nexus just isn't that fast-moving anymore as it used to. Though if you get no response it usually simply means no-one knows. As far as the mod itself goes: I honestly have no idea how this was do. Personally I never managed to get a hold of the mod before the author was banned. I therefore also don't know if it applied to vanilla weapons only. Heh, actually while I was typing this I remembered the author made a youtube vid of it once. Guess what I found when I googled it? GrayWolf04
Thanks. I took a look at it, but it seems like that it will work for the default weapons only since it comes with a .bsa file and seems to use models of the guns. I'm not an expert with the GECK or anything, so would you know how to change this? Is it as simple as just changing the source of the models to the ones you want? Again, thank you very much for finding that link.
