Infinite Loading screen....

After switcing from ECE to Racemenu, I now get the infinite loading screen glitch. I use the Alternate Start mod. The opening screen with the talking statue of Mara starts up correctly. I'm able to use RACEMENU to select a racemenu preset. I undressed the PC to make sure body mod loaded properly. Then after selecting the desired start scenario, I get the ininfinite loading screen.. Is this a common Racemenu issue? What can I do besides switching back to ECE?

you're mistake was in removing / deleting a mod, you NEVER do this. It will break your saves EVERY single time. There "may" be a work around though.

start a new game, and as soon as you can try loading your most recent save

IF it loads, immediately save and quit the game

restart the game and the newest save "should" work

I wasn't trying to start a saved game after installing Racemenu. I was trying to do a whole new PT. Unfortunately, the infinite load screen intervened...

because each of those mods use their own Meshes and / or textures, remove the files, and crash

the games is looking for specific files, if the mod is removed it can't find those files

now if you have started a completely new game NOT using an old save, then it's as I said, you are missing a patch file or a master file for one of your mods

here is my guide for beginners, do ALL of steps 2 & 3 please and let me know what you discover

also make sure you use the files in the box i made using the ***************
