HadToRegister
why are you trying to convert it back to an esp?why not just use the esl?
HugeDragonBALLZ
Because all the files that run in nexus mod manager are all .esp and .esm files. the .esl file doesn't work.it was never esp. In order for the mod to work i have to somehow figure out how to make from esl to esp.I don't know why they did that. to save space? The modder didn't even leave a descripition on how to change the file type. Edited September 9, 2018 by HugeDragonBALLZ

HadToRegister
This is what you get when you type "Nexus Mod Manager Github" into google https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Nexus-Mod-Manager/releases

Deleted3897072User
If you had the latest version of NMM from GitHub (anything from 0.65.3 onwards), you would be able to enable and disable esl files. If you unwilling to install that, you could consider using Vortex instead. To convert an esl to an esp you would need to install a recent version of SSEEdit and learn how to use it safely. It is a powerful tool but if you don't know what you are doing you can break a lot of things in your game. Not recommended for beginners. It is possible to force SSE to load a specific esl (or, indeed, any plugin) by manually editing certain Bethesda configuration files. Again, if you don't know what you are doing, it is a risky thing to do.
