Cyberlazy
Hi. Today I have created a brand new installer for my mod craft pack (And soon, other mods of mine) But, I can't decide what to call it.. in the future this will likey install all my mods. Its a simple program (to use) that will actualy detect what mods are installed and what mods are being installed and not only install the patches needed, but actualy merge all the patchs/esp files into one esp, for a reduced load order length and cleaner install. dozens of small patchs can now be made without cluttering up load order. So, Any suggestons for a name for this pure awesome?
pluramon
Hmm, how about "MeltingMods" (as in melting pot), or "ModFusion"/"ModFuser"/"ModForge"/"ModWelder". Edited June 11, 2012 by pluramon
Cyberlazy
Hmm, Modfusion and Modforge sound good. Any other ideas people? Also im working on a new rebalance pack that will let you select what modules you want and configure them, then merge it all into one ESP, giving you all the benefits of a highly modular rebalance with none of the cluttered load order, Anyone got a name for that? :)
Bl00dSpatt3R
These ideas sound impressive. Perhaps........."The ModFather" for one of them ???
Jeux
My votes go towards Modfather (haha) and Modfusion. FNVMerge. Heh.

Cyberlazy
So far leaning towards modfusion. "Powered by Modfusion" Just sounds like a cool tagline. Somehow, "Lazyinstaller" sounds more accurate, as the main reason im doing this is being sick of people whining about load order and patches and such. This program will not even have a GUI. you just run it and it installs everything according to config files and adds the mods to your load order, since every time you change something everything has to be remerged anyway. Later on these config files will also let you change options within the mod, ie what modules are enabled, tweaks of the modules, etc. Why config files and not a GUI? too much work to code a gui! Also you can easily send config file settings around or provide alternate config files. also write in plenty of comments on what everything does and they are just simple to read/write. Someone could even write a GUI ontop of it that actualy reads/writes the config files as needed...

LazyInstaller says it all its an installer for your mods so it contains part of your username. also its for people who are lazy.

Cyberlazy
Ok, I think its about ready for real world use. If anyone wants to help beta test it, PM me and I will send you the url. ATM it installs my mods Craft Pack, Craft Master, LLO and CASE and boils them down to just 4 ESMs and 2 ESPs, including installing DLC patches for any detected DLC and automaticly installs patches for Classic fallout weapons, Shrapnel and WMX, if detected.
