under SOUNDSOFSKYRIMCOMPLETE.ESP...

WARNING = * "A patch is included with the Sounds Of Skyrim Complete SE installer, please make sure you have installed the Realistic lighting overhaul SSE patch and have it activated"

Sounds simple, but I can't figure out exactly what patch they are talking about (?)

A link would be great if someone knows, and any specific info or advice

(game seems to be running fine, but I like to see zero warnings!)

the plugin is called

SOS_RLOInteriors_Patch.esp

and it's included in the installer for SOS

so if you have RLO , make sure to choose the RLO patch in the installer for SOS , and make sure the patch is loaded after SOS and RLO

Okay, so apparently when I initially installed SOS, it was before I had RLO... and so that's why I didn't take that patch, but now that I do (have RLO), how can I "choose the RLO patch in the installer for SOS "? I tried deactivating SOS, and then re-activating (is that the same as re-installing?) it, but it still didn't prompt me with any patch options. Do I have to re-download it? (THANK YOU btw!)

EDIT - Yes, I re-downloaded it, and it worked! No more warnings! Thank you again!

you didn't have to download the file again , just install it again

but I'm glad you got it working

I figured that but couldn't figure out how to install it again (without deleting it), when I deactivated it, and then re-activated it, it didn't seem to work, is there an option somewhere to "re-install", so I'll know for next time? (thankfully this was like a 1 minute download :-) )

I think it depends on which mod manager you're using . I know that in Mod Organizer , if you right click on an installed mod , among the options is one to reinstall the mod

not sure if NMM has this feature , and I have no idea about Vortex as I've yet to use it

but regardless of the mod manager you use , you can just remove the mod and install it from scratch (as long as you don't delete your downloaded mods after you install them) . one way to do this is simply remove the mod and use the add mod feature , choose the downloaded mod from the folder and it will install it from fresh

these may not matter for tiny mods , but when you install something that is several hundred megabytes or more , it could be a huge difference in time
