Are papyrus warnings and errors a symptom of major issues?

I am about 40 hours in and the game has been very stable with no crashes or freezing... However lately some random crashing and freezing and occasional 'weird' glitches are randomly popping up somewhat frequently.. I've not removed any mods in my load order. I have adjusted the load order slightly because loot was organizing a couple in the wrong order. But no at all issues at all until recently.

I've ran loot, no errors, have checked all mods for compatibility issues and installed patches where they are needed... created a smashed patch.

I am looking at papyrus logs and am noticing a lot of errors and warning throughout. Is this normal?

need to see the papyrus logs, IN A SPOILER PLEASE lol, then we can tell you more

also, try Wrye Bash, once you run it if any of the mods are orange or red they can, and usually WILL cause crashes or freezes

Orange mods = load order incorrect, this is caused by the author of that mod not having their own load order correct when the author made the mod

Red mods = missing patch file or master file for one of your mods

Wrye link is in my siggy :)

The papyrus logs will contain a lot of errors and warnings, depending on what mods you have installed, so don't panic.

They are useful if you are debugging your own mod but messages about other people's mods are best ignored.

They don't help in the slightest to find the cause of crashing, though, because if you crash, the last buffer-full of the log never gets written; you only see stuff that was coming out of the game when it was running without crashing.

If you install SSE Engine Fixes, it can be configured to produce a crash dump that may help you work out what is causing the crash. Also, Skyrim Performance Monitor is worth a look because it will track your RAM and VRAM usage and keep a graph of it after you crash, in case the crash is caused by the game running up against hard limits.
