if you are still getting CTD - try this its 'abit out of the box'

 

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/installed_codec.html and download 'InstalledCodec' link bottom page.

 

Read the guide on Webb site to guide to get Installedodec' up and running.

 

Basically from within 'InstalledCodec' program; you'll see whole list of 'Video/Audio' Codecs that have been installed on your machine and amazingly not all are compatible with each other or more importantly with Skyrim.

Disable all Codec that are not under Company listing as 'Microsoft', also you may have codec from company called 'Fraunhofer institut' these to also needs to remain abled.

 

This solved my issue of CTD, which was soon as my character touched any water within Skyrim! Bam CTD

Hello guyz i dont know if this is relevant or it helps but i have the same freaking problem BUT when i start a new savegame it doesnt crash it just shows me these 3 mesages: [WETriggerScript<(0109883)>]WARNING Onlnit() MyHoldLocation property has not been set this will result in errors.

th other two are extactly the same it just change the code in the brackets the other two codes are

(01099887) , (010D13EA)

dont have any idea what it is.... i hope it helps

remove the WETtrigger script from SCripts folder.
