Timihendrix91
Same here 40+ ( over 60). I guess the person running this poll did not think anyone over 60 would play OblivionWow, 40+ means everyone over the age of forty. Sixty is over the age of forty. I could have kept going up to ninety, but I figured that most people would understand that. lol, when have you seen rating stopping anyone buying a game? I'm 14 and i just go and buy a game, no matter what the rating, the guy behind the counter doesn't seem to care, and neither do i.Heh, when I was 16 I got halo, but since i was under 17 i had my dad buy it for me, and they carded him. It was so dumb.
Tallhat
Impressive to see how many 40+ players there are. Would never have thought that. Here in Denamark hardly anyone over 40 ever touches a computer. Im just teaching my dad how to use his first !ever! computer these days. How one can live without a good PC and good games I do not know.
bben46
Not a very linear distribution. Your categories are 2,7,4,5,4 and more than 50 years respectively. Most polls - especially political polls, are carefully written to return the specific data the will 'prove' whatever the pollster wants to prove. Thus making most polls scientifically meaningless. Just like statistics. What kind of data were you looking for? What are you trying to prove or to show with your poll? That only kids play computer games? Then I must be a kid if that is so. I can accept that. Another 40+ ( plus 22 actually)

LoginToDownload
What are you trying to prove or to show with your poll? That only kids play computer games?I would assume, if that was the case, there would have been options for those younger than 16 ratings-be-damned and the 16-18 category would have been larger. I really don't think any intentional bias or spin went into this. Wow, 40+ means everyone over the age of forty. Sixty is over the age of forty. I could have kept going up to ninety, but I figured that most people would understand that. The complaint is that the contents of 60+ in relation to 40+ would have been as interesting as any other poll option. bben46
Login, I don't think there was any intended bias either. just poking a little fun and bringing out how skewed his results will be. There is a whole new demographic coming into computer games. Those who are retired and are looking for something to fill the time. I know several of those. I am one myself, and I don't particularly like golf or TV.

worm82075
I just turned 33 a week ago tomorrow ( the day gandalftw posted) I don't feel a day over 30, lol. Just to clear up a misconception, The re-rating of Oblivion had nothing to do with violence present in the realm of Oblivion or the Dark Brotherhood it was because a player mod unlocked the already present anatomical correctness of the games races, in other words, nudity.
