Cant play skyrim anymore, all saved files kept crashing, new games start incorrectly

What happened was I tried adding "uGridsToLoad=11" under "[general]" in the Skyrim ini file. Then when I played the game I noticed that some of the textures didn't look quite right when view close up. I also read that adding that line to the ini file can destablize the game, so I deleted the "uGridsToLoad=11" line from my ini file and restarted the game. But from that point forward my saved games have always been crashing one second into the load screen, unless I add uGridsToLoad=11 back into my ini file.

Also when I start a new game it starts all wrong: All the characters including myself are standing around the outside of the cart rather than sitting inside of the cart like they're supposed to be. The horses are behind the carts rather than in front. And the cart, the horses and all the people that are supposed to be in the cart are stationary; not moving.

I would like to know how to fix this even if it involves wiping my whole Skyrim file history clean and starting new.

Did you delete your ini file and then restart the game to create a new ini file?

Yes, I did that; several times. Didn't work.

Did you uninstall and the reinstall the game?

Yes, I did that too. Again, several times. Nope, didn't work

Did you run a "verify integrity of game files" scan?

Yes. Yet again, several times. It always says "1 file failed to validate and will be reacquired" every time I run the scan no mater how many times I run it.

I have even tried deleting all Skyrim files from my computer, including both ini files before reinstalling the game. Nothing seems to be working!

You know what DOES make my game run (close to) properly again though? Adding the "uGridsToLoad=11" line back into my skyrim ini file. Now I'm stuck with that line in my ini file or else I can't play Skyrim. If I delete that line out of the ini file, thus reverting my ini file back to its defult, the game doesn't work. If I delete the whole ini file and have my game generate a new one upon restart, the new ini file will not contain the "uGridsToLoad=11" line and my game will crash unless I add that line back into my ini file under "[general]."

I would like to know how to make my game run properly again without having the "uGridsToLoad=11" line in my ini file. Even if it means wiping my whole Skyrim file history clean. As stated, I already deleted all my saved games in attempt to fix this problem so I am perfectly fine with starting over fresh with a new game.

Try a save from before you tinkered with Ugrids. Its a very well known problem and best not really messed with. If you dont have an earlier save im affraid you might have toased that play through. Setting u grids back to default setting and try a new toon see if the game is stable. If its stable go play have fun. Just leave ugrids alone.. Yes it looks sweet but the down side is stability or lack of. Add 150 mods and Ugrids 11 is recipe for disaster. Some have got it working more hassle than its worth try Dyndolod instead.

I'm back and I'm still trying to fix the problem.

Hi Pippboss, thanks for your post, but it was merely a rehash of all the useless info that I found in all the millions of other threads that I combed through before giving up and creating my own thread.

As I already said, all my saved games are already deleted. Also, as I already said, I AM trying to start a new game and...

^That is what happens AFTER I have Skyrim create a new default INI file.

(Feel free to read my WHOLE first post. Not just the title and then the first sentence.)

Did that. Didn't work, as stated above. Also, just to double clarify, yes, I did delete my ini file (multiple times) and then restart skyrim so that a new defult ini is created and, as I said, IT DOESN"T FIX THE PROBLEM!!!!!!!

What I would like to know is how to wipe my whole skyrim everything history clean so the I can start new with everything fresh as if I just bought a whole new computer and downloaded skyrim for the first time.

Let me repeat: UNINSTALLING SKYRIM AND THE REINSTALLING SKYRIM DOESN'T WORK EITHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It still keeps doing the same annoying stuff as before.

No need to bother with videos either. They're useless. Five plus minutes of wind an blabbing from somebody is never easy to follow.
