samv96UK
First part sent, for some reason when I tried to sent it yesterday it didnt worked. I kinda went a bit overboard and ended chaining several ideas for quest into a "hidden" storyline. Once I clean them a bit ill sent them to you. Thanks for the message, I liked the idea! samv96UK
Nice, detailed reply, thanks. No worries! I've also spend this evening putting together a map which shows the total area that the city covers, and it has been neatly divided into regions for you too! At the moment the total area of the city is something just below half the size of Whiterun hold! Not bad in my honest opinion. :P http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/7217/rocheberemap.jpg

Peccadillo
I've finally gotten around to playing Syerscote and it is fantastic! Although I've been anticipating this mod for a while, now I'm rather more excited than ever. This looks to be a great city, despite its alleged gynecological likeness, and I hope the rest of the process goes well for you. If you're still looking for side quest suggestions, how about defending or persuading a group of foolish kids to leave an abandoned bandit fort before an actual troop of bandits claims it? If you don't persuade them to leave, then some may die when the bandits attack.

The similarities between the architecture of Syerscote and Rochebere is pretty much because I quickly slapped together Syerscote using some slightly modified Rochebere models so that I could show people what the general 'feel' of Rochebere will be like, but on a much larger scale. D3V14NT101
If you're still looking for more side quest suggestions...History repeats itself and yet again the Jarl of Rochemere is targeted but this time it is the Thalmore who are the the plotters as they deem Rochebere to be a threat to its own power. This assassination attempt could be done after the player has just learned of the past events that have occurred and now has to face a similar situation as the previous denizens had to face all those centuries ago...I believe after learning of the province's past and then having to deal with a similar situation they faced, would immerse the player as they would experience what the people of Rochebere had to. I believed it would of worked well as the Thalmore fit perfectly into the role of the 'bad guy' of this quest and having not learned of Rochebere's past for themselves wouldn't have found out the Empire's failures (with the empire having erased Rochebere's past). twice failing with one assassination attempt and one with military force. Whereas this assassination attempt may not play out too well this time as it could be done to go either way, the Thalmore succeeding in their assassination attempt and killing the king in which the player saves the wife and child (assuming the Jarl has them) and the wife taking succession until the child is able. Or in the end the king is saved by the player resulting in the possible tragic loss of the wife or child. In the end result all that this quest brings is either a new sovereign over Rochebere or the past repeating itself. Now that I look at it, it looks more like an expansion storyline than a side quest... Bandits have found themselves upon Rochebere's countryside and begin raiding it, The Jarl (or anyone of high position) asks the player as well as some guardsmen to swiftly erase the disruption the banditry in the countryside has caused (leading to one or two small fights within Rochebere's countryside district).Necromancers have been discovered in one of the abandoned/empty houses in one of the Rochebere's districts (a gaurd'a last words perhaps), the player has to kill all known threats within the building not leaving a single entity remaining. Could possibly be a quest given by the Town's Guard or the Guardians. Small quests like helping merchants out (deliveries, customer gathering etc) or farming in the countryside district to help farmers, generally helping out the populace of Rochbere will immerse the player in Rochebere but possibly an added bonus might be that, the people of Rochebere might have a higher opinion of you after doing a certain amount. Thanks for all those ideas! I actually really like the large idea you've given me, but as you said yourself, it is a bit too large for a side quest. However, I could add the quest line as an expansion afterwards. I'm already planning a guild expansion for Rochebere after the initial release, so it would be pretty cool to have 'The Rochebere Trilogy', with something similar to your idea being the final part. Anyway, I'm getting ahead of myself. Probably better for me to focus on the initial release first! ;)
