Jeir
The one that suits what visuals and performance you're after. It's completely subjective. Just browse the ENB Presets category to find what is right for you (or is close enough that you can just tweak it yourself.)
Mercury71
"Best" is ofc an opinion... so there can not be a best ENB. But my experience after trying a lot of them out is... - Most ENBs tend to go for a more Fantasy like Skyrim or a more Photorealistic. So if u like me like the art style of Skyrim... dont use ENB.- Most of them is (in my opinion) best for making nice pictures and not for a playtrough (even though i have a high end rig with 1080Ti).- You really have to try many of them to find your own favorite (playing along fine in lets say northern snowy Skyrim... everyting looks great, just to find out you can not stand the looks of it when you come to lets say Riften).- ENB can in many cases do more for the look than any texture mod. This is very good since it is so easy to change ENB whitin minutes while messing around with mods in the midle of a play is never advisable.- One problem is that one ENB that looks good outdoors might look bad indoors. One that makes sunny weather great might look like s*** in storm and rain.- Your monitor is very important. And how it is setup.- Many modern gaming monitors have presets that works almost like some sort of "ENB light". I have different presets on my that gives very different look to games.- Dont forget to check ReShades out. They are often just as good as ENB and in my opinion often more suitable for actuall gameplay.- Dont just try the weather specific ENBs. A version for a specific weather mod is just the authors opinion what settings looks best with that weather mod. Try a lot of versions!- Pictures and videos in ENB descriptions dont show what it will look like in your game. Only what it looks like on the authors with his /hers configuration of mods. - Right now i dont use any ENB or ReShade since i found "Rustic Weather And Lightning" with its extra preset file that lets me change ingame. Check it out.
QuagaarWarrior
The good thing about ENB is that you can change it mid-playthrough and not suffer any ill effects.Personally I downloaded ENB manager and loaded 3 quite different presets into it (Intrigued ENB, Natural View Tamriel and Skyrim Re-Engaged). The manager allows me to switch between any of these presets whenever I want to. I dont switch often just whenever I fancy a refresh. It helps that the ENBs I chose all recommend the same complimentary mods, namely ELFX with Enhancer and Obsidian Weathers.
