Combat Armor Color Availability

It seems as if the color of combat armors can be changed at the workbench. Problem is, I do not appear to have any color options.

 

Are these found in a magazine somewhere, or are these only available via Creation Club, where I know there are all sorts of color schemes, but none I've wanted. In Creation Club, I saw some "branded" schemes that are short on actual art work (labels, graphics), but not the wide range of solid (but appropriately weathered) colors I'm after.

 

Wanting to put Provisioners in something better suited to the job than their wasteland attire, while making them stand apart from Gunners.

Three of the paint jobs are contained in Hot Rodder magazine http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Hot_Rodder Another can be bought from the Atom Cats. From what you should have already Winterized gives all white armour, Vault Tec gives you Blue/Yellow and Military gives you Green. Black is obtainable from the Railroad and the more exotic paint jobs such as Abraxo, Nuka Cola and Vim are found in the Far Harbor and Nuka World.

I put most of my own Provisioners in Boston Police uniform https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/30212 which when modded with Ballistic Weave gives a Damage Resistance of 265, and I give them the most powerful weapons I have. If you put them in Power Armour it will just get damaged and eventually they will be just walking about in a frame.

I do not have a single color change available for combat armor when I go to the armor workbench. I can paint power armors with Abraxo, Vault-Tec, Atom Cats, and others, but not combat armors.

 

Maybe I'm doing something completely wrong?

The options you have are Standard Combat Armor - military green , BOS Combat Armour - Dark Green , Polymer Combat Armour - White , Shadowed Combat Armor - Black.

 

N7 Combat Armor is pretty cool and you can craft it at a chemistry station. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/5016
