JEdwards89102
I tried installing Vortex and after loading it one time, I got an instant BSOD, and this continued any time I opened vortex until I just said "Eff it" and uninstalled it.

Deleted58783396User
4 possible causes for BSODs (Blue Screen of Death, Critical System Error) 1. Faulty/Unstable Hardware (Possible), 2. Fubar Windows Installation (very possible if the os you are using is not updated or older then windows 7, such as windows xp which suffers from memory leaks) 3. poorly written software (the least likely, as they would have not made vortex the new standard, and very unlikely they would have made it public, knowing it could cause BSODs which is a critical system error) 4. and lastly, insufficient system resources (hardware), this would imply that 1. you do not have enough resources every time you load vortex or 2. vortex is extremely demanding on system resources, which i would find hard to believe. so if i was you, i would do some hardware testing to make sure my hardware is healthy, and i would update my os, or re-install my os or if you happen to be using windows xp or older, i would serioulsy consider upgrading to windows 7, the pinnacle of the windows operating system. do you have a page file on your os, if not you should have. as the bsod can also be caused by insufficiant hardware resources, which the window page file helps prevent, if its memory related.
