KraftKrapfen
Hi everybody So I finally worked out how to fix an ingame bug, and as i enabled the last mod i wanted to have for this playthrough, the screen went white (except my taskbar) and vortex crashed. I tried to relaunch it, but it just shows the little graphic and doesn't open a window. There is a Vortex process in the taskmanager, but no app. I restarted my computer, didn't work, I reinstalled vortex and ran into the same problem, the interface just won't open up. Please help! Pickysaurus
Could you provide more info about what steps you followed before it crashed? It'll help us to try and replicate it.
KraftKrapfen
Nothing quite unusual to my perception but I will try my best. I had this ingame bug where some textures in cities will not load correctly, for which I deleted 2 lines from the Skyrim.ini. As the problem was thereby solved, I re-enabled all mods I suspected to be causing this problem at once (expanded towns and cities, 2k Textures, smim, enhanced light and fx, superior water). After that, I downloaded deadly dragons and after the installation, as I enabled deadly dragons, vortex crashed. Deadly Dragons is even working ingame! Furthermore, I validated the Skyrim files via Steam, if that could in any way be related to the issue. It said there was one file missing and that it had been requested. This was the message I received on 2 consecutive validations actually, after which I just stopped bothering because the .ini edit fixed my problem. I can't remember anything special or unusual besides this.Btw, I can play Skyrim without any problem and with all mods working, it would just be pretty tedious to meddle with any new or existing mods in this position, I want to use the wonderful Vortex again! :D
KraftKrapfen
Update: I just noticed that I can access the Vortex window by clicking on the vortex icon on the far right of the taskbar. However, it only shows a white window and I can't see lest interact with anything.
