mrd08
I did a search and could not locate a fix for this. Vortex does not allow me to login, i have tried using Edge as well as Chrome (with a new install). Vortex gives the following error: failed to parse server response for request "https://api.nexusmods.com/v1/users/validate": Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0. Thanks for any assistance. mrd08
I downloaded NMM and it let me log in with no issues. I'm not sure what the problem is but Vortex refuses to log me in. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall Vortex but it continues to give me the same log in error. Anyone have any theories? ***Problem has worked itself out***
circuitdragon
I am also not able to get it to log me in. It directs to the website no problem, I log in the website, and nothing happens with Vortex. Edge and Firefox I have tried.
Aslisawesome
I'm having the same problem right now. I wonder if directly dowloading the mods and placing them in the game files would make them appear in vortex?
AugustaCalidia
@Aslisawesome. If you want to download a mod manually in order to install it, then do the following. Download the mod to some place on your PC that is totally separate from any Vortex installed folders. Make sure the active game in Vortex is the one for which you have downloaded the mod. Open the Vortex mods page and drag the downloaded mod archive (or copy and paste it) into the dropzone ("Drop File(s)") at the bottom of the mods page. If that's done correctly, then you will be prompted on the mods page to install the mod. Install, enable, and deploy. After that, you should be good to go. I suggest you use this procedure to ensure that the mod archive goes to the correct Vortex download folder. Don't try to find that folder yourself. Let Vortex do it. When you drag the mod archive to the dropzone, Vortex knows exactly where to put it.
