Custom Weapon Required

Due to the nature of the add-on I'm creating, I have to keep rather silent about the details of the story. This will be the first mod I've ever publicly released and I'm not entirely sure I'm ready for the oncoming flak of judgement.

So without further ado:

MODEL 1: I require a brand new weapon model to be created for my add-on. This weapon will be a one handed mace and the design will be hammer like and very loosely based on 1 image I have. There is plenty of room for artistic impression within this request.

OPTIONAL MODEL 2: A custom sword. Not as important as the model mentioned above as my add-on could live without it. However if a modeller wanted to contribute this model as well, it would make the add-on far more unique.

ABOUT THE ADD-ON: The add-on will be lore friendly and orientated towards Role Players. This add-ons story was constructed by me and my friend Ricool06. We took the certain facts and locked pieces of knowledge from the world of elder scrolls, and then created "Bones" between them to join these events in a whole new story. We are currently still "Fleshing" the story out but the essentials have been created.

If anyone fancies themselves creative and a good story teller then perhaps they could help out with the story and the quest line. This isn't as important as the models because I feel I will eventually get this done myself anyway but it would be an opportunity to contribute to a possibly great skyrim add-on.

Anyone who actually contributes to the add-on will be briefed on the story and the events anyway, kind of like a thank you for helping me out.

If there are any details you wish to know then please just ask in this thread. If you wish to offer your services for this project then you can either leave me your email in this thread, or your steamID and I will add you.

THE LORE:

Civil war is shaking the lands of Skyrim. The dragons have returned from legend and the Dovahkiin rises once more. With so much chaos amidst, the long forgotten daedric prince Jyggalag sees this as an opportune time to begin a new and final greymarch. This time he rises, and Tamriel is his battleground.

i think it would be great mod however the player would need to complete shegoraths quest (already in skyrim) and (optional don't have to include)they would also have to return to the shimmering isles to once again do the oblivon add on with a few extras of course.

What i would love to see:

1. a remake of the madness armour from oblivion. i loved that armour and it's style it reminded me of the medieval knight style armour.

2. for the sword making the sword with no particular shape just a bit of black smoke would be pretty cool. kind of like having the ebony mail enchantment but on a sword with a invisible blade.

that is all i can think of at the moment. by the way your idea is grat.

If you could send me the picture of the mace I could give it a shot. I'm not über 1337 when it comes to modeling but I'm learning. Since I have a shitload of free time on my hands right now I wouldn't mind sinking some time into it.

Don't expect miracles, but I could certainly try! If someone else would like to try, don't let me hinder you. I'm here to learn. I'll also make sure not to send/show the picture anywhere.

Another thing: I don't do texturing. I am horrible at anything that needs me to be so artistic as to creating textures. I could try, maybe. We'll see

You shouldn't run away from texturing. Trust me, you need to keep both your skillsets equal if you ever want to do anything decent in it.

So if you start this model, be sure to spend a lot of time texturing it as well.

And don't worry, every 3d artist who didn't spend their time painting avoided texturing in the start. It happened to me as well. However, it is a skillset you need to learn! A good texture is 70% of the model.

Good luck!

Matth

This is the hammer that was originally used in morrowind.

If anyone wants to apply artistic influence to the design, please feel free!
