sportled
theirs no reason not to max out an SSD, they do not slow down 1 bit, even when full, i have windows and fallout 4 + insane amount of mods on my ssd, 20gb free space, and absolutely no slow down. computer still runs extremely fast as does the ssd optimal gaming setup = SSD for Windows and Games, HDD for storage. Fallout 4 load times, 5 Minutes HDD (in your case) -30 seconds SSD (my case, i have the entire game in 4k as well, just to show the superiority of installing fallout 4 with excessive mods on an ssd).yeah and my fallout eats 120 GB with the mods sim settlements and such and i don't have the luxury of 500gb ssd's mate... only have 250 and its maxed out on other games i play allot more then fallout... so its simply not worth slowing down 5 games for 1 game... Deleted58783396User
fair enough, however how many of them games requires the same high performance, that a heavily modded fallout 4 requires. if their light weight games they can easily be installed on the internal hdd. thats how i have mine setup. i currently have about 10 games installed, fallout 4 + mods on the main SSD drive, and the rest on the Internal HDD as none of the games i have require the same high performance that a heavily modded fallout 4 would require. in fact very few games released requires that type of performance. for the record, my ssd is also 250 gb
