iamhondo Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 I'm currently at the quest "A Cornered Rat," in the main questline (keep in mind I never had any previous problems with bugs in the quest before) and after I get Esbern to open the door and talk with him, he won't follow me afterwards. What do?
Georgiegril Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Try running through all the dialogue options again, make sure the quest is ticked in your journal....and then maybe close/restart?
tetradite Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 I had similar problems with this, quite a few patches ago, but don't have the issue any more. What worked in the end was opening up the console, click on Esbern, then type "disable" then "enable". This seemed to kind of reset him and he would then move. I did have to do it repeatedly though (like 20-30 plus times to get him all the way back to where he's supposed to go, but it got me there in the end.
