dup3w4sh1ngt0n
Hi all, I built my PC a year ago and have been playing Fallout since January, however recently it's been playing like sh*t and I was wondering if anyone could help me troubleshoot/ benchmark. In Afterburner, it says the GPU is only running between 80-85%, but I keep dipping below 60 fps my specs are 1080 gtx w/ 8gb Vrami7 8700k500gb Samsung 960 SSD16gb 3000mhz ram Thank you! Deleted58783396User
1. download this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/26286 install it, place at right at the bottom of your load order, and see if that fixes your issue. 2. as for texture issues. download enbseries: http://enbdev.com/download_mod_fallout4.htm copy enblocal, enbseries. and copy d3d11.dll and d3dcompiler_46e.dll (found inside the wrapper folder) to your fallout 4 root folder open enblocal, and set forcevideomemorysize to true (ForceVideoMemorySize=true) and set VideoMemorySizeMb=4096 (if it is not already) that should fix low textures. 3. Open nvidia control panel, click on manage 3d settings, scroll down until you find Power Management Mode, click on the drop down box, and click on Prefer Maximum Performance
