Fallout Mod Manager (FOMM) to Vortex Help?

I never heard about FOMM but do yourself a favor, if you want to use Vortex from now on, read, investigate, watch videos and review all threads in this forum.

Vortex is very simple and super easy ... but .. it is completely different from your mod manager so just because you know yours does not means that you will get into Vortex and deal with it without reading.

Good luck.

Hey so I don't know how to transfer all my content from FOMM to Vortex. Can someone help me out?

And just to clarify, it is FOMM, not NMM. Just so no one is confused

Do you have a download folder where FOMM stores your downloaded archives? It's been a long time since I used FOMM, and I can't remember if that's the case or not.

If you do have such a folder, you can simply copy the FOMM archives into the Vortex download folder. Then, when you open Vortex and look at the mods page, you will see a list of mods labelled "Never Installed." Before installing, make sure your game data folder is empty and has no leftovers from previous games. Then turn on auto-sort and auto-deploy, install and enable the mods, resolve any mod conflict and load order issues, and you're good to go.
