Deleted33508955User
Currently have a bit of an issue where if I switch to other game profiles such as Fallout NV or Monster Hunter World and switch back to Skyrim SE then whenever I launch Skyrim SE via SKSE64 the game won't recognize my previous saves being there. I have even tried going to the save game location under Vortex and trying to re-enable any sort of plugins for that save (just in case) but it still won't show up ingame and it is getting annoying to make new characters often. Grestorn
You can check if your save games are still there in Documents\MyGames\<Gamename> The worst thing that could happen is that the game is told to look for the savegames in another subdirectory. But the saves themselves are usually still there. For what it's worth, I never had that particular problem and I also don't know how to help you, but I want to ease your pain a bit. If you can find your saves, you know that they can be recovered as well.
Deleted33508955User
It seems the saves are still there but the game just doesn't want to recognize them unless I restart my computer or put it to sleep. Really hope that they can fix this issue because it only happens with Vortex.
Grestorn
Unlikely, since Vortex doesn't do anything when putting the system to sleep or restart it. There's something else amiss on your system. To clarify: After you've restarted your system, what exactly makes your saves disappear?

There's something else amiss on your system. To clarify: After you've restarted your system, what exactly makes your saves disappear?I meant that when I restart or put the computer to sleep that the saves will show up to be recognized by the game. Not the saves are being deleted during that time. Only when switching between game profiles with Vortex only will my SkyrimSE not recognize my saves for some reason. Also, switching between game profiles also disables some of my Skyrim SE plugins such as CBBE and my Bashed Patch when re-switching back to them
Grestorn
So you say, you switch your game, and then you don't see any saved games. Then you restart the system, and they're again accessible by the game? Is this reproducible? Are these plugins that get deactivated managed by Vortex or did you add them yourself? Deleted33508955User
Not sure if it is reproducible and yes the plugins are managed by Vortex.
AugustaCalidia
My apologies if this issue doesn't belong here but in a different thread. Currently I have a problem apparently restricted to Vortex 0.16.10 that is similar to OP's but not as severe. The problem involves vanishing game saves only and not plugins. If I reinstall a mod (selecting "replace") in a given profile, then saves for that profile disappear from the saves page. However, if I enable another profile in the same game and then immediately re-enable the original profile, the vanishing saves reappear on the saves page. Simply redeploying does not bring back the vanished saves. No filters are in place. I have not yet tried to reacquire the vanished saves by activating a different game and then reactivating the original game, although I suspect that will work. The problem of vanishing saves seems to be peculiar to Vortex 0.16.10, because I cannot reproduce it in v. 0.16.8. In the latter version, the save page continues to show a profile's saves no matter how many mods I reinstall. Testing in v. 0.16.10 has been limited to reinstalling a mod. I have not tested by installing a new mod, updating a mod, uninstalling a mod, or disabling a mod. Is this a bug, or am I overlooking something in v. 0.16.10? Can anyone reading this post replicate the problem using v. 0.16.10? Anyway, whether a bug or user error, this problem is not a game-breaker and is easily remedied.
