TangerineDog
I've done my fair share of compiling - getting the script to work used to be the problem :ermm:Now that I want to get into modding again and just copy/ paste a script I know works and replace one word… I don't remember how to compile the thing! There's the compiler folder with the .bat file that did what it was supposed to a few months ago just fine and I can't figure out how to make it do that again! So how can I compile the .psc file with the .bat file and the thingamabob again? Please help me!
IsharaMeradin
Perhaps this will help you. I've never used a bat file to compile. I set up Sublime Text (used Notepad++ at one point too).
TangerineDog
Unfortunately, that doesn't help.I've used that article to make sure I hadn't messed up the files first thing… but I haven't! So everything is in working order, I just don't know how to use it, it seems!
JWGamimg75
I would maybe do it the super noob (speaking of myself here, hehe)/long way by creating a new ESP in the CK, creating a new script from an object (ie. spell or book) or something, then click on Build tab to bring up the compile option -- use the internal compiler there. You can get access to the compiled script file(s) -- pex and source file(s) -- psc from the Skyrim DATA>Scripts folder.
